Winsomes Best Disguised
April 2, 2012 Colt
Sire: Winsome Monarchs Best Foot Forward
Dam: Hidden Meadows Vanity Fair

"Phantom" is truly a WOW colt. Born April 2, 2012, he is by Winsome Monarchs Best Foot Forward and out of the very special Hidden Meadows Vanity Fair. If he'd been a filly he would never leave here - I feel that strongly about his pedigree and quality. He is a real standout, and has been tested homozygous with no grey gene. He should mature about 30". Attitude and presence galore, neck set so high it's often right over his withers, short back and a huge hip, plus lots of leg and refinement. This colt will win and produce.

Winsomes Color Me Best
April 23, 2012 Filly
Sire: Winsome Monarchs Best Foot Forward
Dam: Fiddle De Fizz

You really have to see her to believe her! "Scribbles", so named for the unique face markings only a child could replicate, is a tiny, beautifully refined and balanced bay and white pinto filly. Born April 23, 2012 Scribbles is the 3rd repeat breeding of Winsome Monarchs Best Foot Forward and Fiddle De Fizz. She is a full sister to the multiple Supreme and Grand Champion filly Winsome Saved The Best For Last. Scribbles has a fantastic head, huge eyes set off by a big star that flairs to the right, a long high set neck ending in a tiny hooky throat latch, and a beautiful body. She will show in the small class, and I doubt there will be another with her quality and elegance. We expect her to mature just under 30" and, knowing Cricket's foals, she'll have a wonderful temperament appropriate for a youth. I can just imagine her in the ring trying her little heart out. She will steal your heart. AMHA and AMHR.

Winsomes Remember I Gotta Be Me
May 5, 2012
Sire: Fallen Ash Scouts Red To Remember
Dam: Marks Sips Royal N Golden

When I purchased "Mia's" dam (Marks Sips Royal N Golden) last year I hoped so much for a filly as she was bred to Fallen Ash Scouts Red to Remember. I got lucky and Mia was born on May 5. A deep chestnut, big doe eyes, a wonderfully balanced body with a short back and beautiful hip. She has strengths I truly value, and I'm looking forward to seeing her grow up. Watch for her in the ring next year. I think she will turn some heads.

Winsome's Pick Me Best
June 8, 2012 Filly
Sire: Winsome Monarchs Best Foot Forward
Dam: Liberty Odessey Alexus

Well, Devon and Lexi combined in a big way to produce a stunning black and white minimal pinto filly born June 8. Pictures will be coming soon, but you'll be grinning as I am from ear to ear with the quality of this filly. She is a full sister to Winsomes Best Alibi who is doing very well already this year in the ring, and I feel this 2012 filly is even better. Perfectly marked with socks and stockings, there are no "spots" to interfere with judges feasting their eyes on her refinement, long, high set neck and beautiful head. Totally balanced and elegant, this filly will go far. She is AMHA and AMHR registered.

Stetsons Heaven Knows Best
June 18, 2011 Filly
Sire: Winsome Monarchs Best Foot Forward
Dam: Daysprings Heaven Sent

Stetsons Heaven Knows Best is one of those fillies not to be passed up. "Thea" is a 2011 black and white pinto filly with all the qualities you'd expect in a show horse. Her pedigree ensures she will produce for you once her show career is over. She is currently 29" so will show in the middle class. And what a little show horse she is! Her baby doll face with a tiny muzzle finishes the complete package with a beautiful neck, short back, long hip, and total elegance. Thea is by Winsome Monarch Best Foot Forward, producer of several World and National Top Ten foals, and son of the leading sire and multiple World Champion Sierra Dawn Unos Monarch. Her dam is by FF Neighborhood Watch, World Champion and sire of winning halter and performance horses also going back to Sierra Dawn Uno de Mayo, and out of a beautiful Fallen Ash L&D Scout daughter. Thea will have producing power galore. AMHA and AMHR. Winsome is agent.

Winsomes Best Alibi
April 30, 2011 Filly
Sire: Winsome Monarchs Best Foot Forward
Dam: Liberty Odessey Alexus

"Ali" is a 2011 eye catching red and white pinto filly by Winsome Monarchs Best Foot Forward and out of Liberty Odessey Alexus. Her first show this year proved she'll hold her own in the ring as she was awarded Reserve Grand Champion and Reserve Champion. Ali currently measures 31" so we expect her to mature in the tall class. She has a beautiful head, with large, expressive eyes, a lovely refined body, and showmanship galore. I'm expecting a great show season for Ali as she has all the basics plus that wonderful attitude so needed to catch the judge's eye. If you're looking for a great show filly, and a future broodmare better talk to me soon. Her price will only go up as her show wins accumulate. AMHA and AMHR.

Winsome Holds The Power
May 18, 2009
Sire: Winsome Monarchs Transition of Power
World Top Ten Colt - Open and Futurity
Producer of many World and National foals.
Dam: Hidden Meadows Vanity Fair
  Producer of World Reserve Grand
Champion and 7 foals with World or
  National Top Tens.

"Brandon" is a 2009 bay pinto gelding, with a 2010 World Top Ten to his credit. He is currently in driving training and is proving to enjoy it and doing well. He is a pretty, cadenced mover and very sensible so he'll most likely be an outstanding youth horse. He measures 32" and I think he's done growing so should show in the 30-32" driving classes. He's also learning showmanship and getting some obstacle work so he will be ready to finish and show for next year. Brandon has a lovely temperament and has always thrived on attention, so he is hoping for a home that wants to spend a lot of time with him.

Tres is a third repeat from his sire and dam. He has been verified homozygous for pinto, and has all the type and quality of his siblings.

FOR SALE. "Teena" was well named, as in her two years of showing her name was called out last many times, receiving Supremes, Grands, and AMHR All Star Awards. I've decided to get down to just my older ladies.  Teena is available for sale.  She would be great for a youth or amateur to continue showing (See below 2012 show record), or she can start her producing career.  Current pictures are available. Teena measures 35.5".  She is AMHA and R. $1500.

FLASH - Teena finished the 2012 show season as National All-Star Top Ten Champion AMHR Youth Halter Jr. Mares, ages 12 and younger. And National All-Star Top Ten Model Mare (6th).  Teena was shown in the youth classes by a 7-year-old, so she would be appropriate for a younger child to show in the ring.  Sold:  Congratulations to Kelsey Logue of Hillsboro, Oregon
FOR SALE: "Lexi" is a beautiful, refined and elegant 2007 sorrel pinto. She has been a wonderful addition to Winsome's exceptional brood mares. She and Devon have certainly clicked.  Their 2011 filly had a great show season, picking up Grands and Reserves. Her 2012 filly is exceptional and had a successful show season with several Grands.  In 2013 Lexi had a colt and what a fabulous colt he is.  Enjoy the type and quality of Lexi's foals on my For Sale page.  Lexi is probably the easiest mare to live with and to foal out that I've ever owned.  Wonderful temperament!   I have slowed down breeding so Lexi was left open for 2014, but she is confirmed in foal to Devon for 2015.  I expect yet another beautiful pinto foal.  Lexi  measures right at 34".

Sold:  Congratulations to Marcia Chinnick - Elma, Wa.

FOR SALE! What a gem Penny will be especially for someone breeding dilutes. Prior to coming to Winsome Penny produced a World Champion Futurity filly for Ravenwood. Her first filly for me was by Fallen Ash Scouts Red to Remember, sire of numerous World Champions and Grand Champions. She was solid red with fabulous movement and she was World Champion with her Amateur owner in 2013.  See her on the For Sale page.  Penny just had a beautiful palomino pinto filly who is also available.  She foals easily and is a wonderful mom.   Penny is 7 times Gold Melody Boy, and has some Buckeroo and Rowdy mixed in. "Penny" is being bred back to Devon for 2015.  She measures 32" and is AMHA and AMHR registered.   Penny is not a pocket-pony but she does catch and is easy to work with.  A bit of a protective mom initially.    Sold:  Congratulations Barbara and Heather Kahl - Yamhill, Or.

Marks Sips Royal N Golden
2002 AMHA / AMHR
Sire: Marks Dominators Sip O Gold
Dam: Marks Dominators Royal Chic
What a gem of a filly! I knew that Penny and Devon would click, but I was really lucky to get both quality and color. She is a perfectly marked 50/50 deep palomino pinto. "Fashion's" baby doll head with big doe eyes top off a great neck set and the usual short back and strong hip that Devon produces. Her pedigree combines the famous, multiple World Champion Sierra Dawn Unos Monarch with plenty of Gold Melody Boy and a bit of Rowdy and Buckeroo. She should mature close to 32", and I expect her to be very showy, refined and correct. She'll certainly be a stand out in the color class. She is the result of the first breeding of Penny and Devon. If she produces like her dam, you'll be seeing a lot of lovely foals from her. Her dam has produced a World Champion Futurity and Reserve World Champion yearling filly in 2009 and a World Champion in 2013 for her Amateur Special Needs Owner. Her sire has produced several winning foals including National and World Top Ten foals. This filly could be one of your best purchases!
